RNLI have asked if any members would be willing to make cakes for the Lifeboat Funday on the 3rd August. Cakes can be dropped off on the day at the RNLI Station or to 9 Caroline Avenue, Mudeford all day on Friday the 1st or until 12 noon on Saturday the 2nd.

Highcliffe Sailing Club is located at the prime coastal location of Mudeford Quay allowing the club to offer sailing in the sheltered waters of Christchurch harbour and open water sailing in Christchurch Bay.
This makes it an ideal club for sailors of all abilities and aspirations. The club has a friendly and informal atmosphere.
It is predominantly a family club with members of all ages and from a wide variety of backgrounds. All members are expected to help with the running of the club, It's a good way to meet people and it's fun to be involved.

Support for the RNLI
Can you help support the RNLI by making a cake/cakes for the Lifeboat Funday on the 3rd August?

RNLI Funday Sunday 3rd August
Come on down to the club and join in the festivities. The club will be open as usual for Sea Race scheduled for 10.30. Bar and Galley will be open, HSC are entering the raft race which is planned to take place at 1.00pm. We need your support to cheer the crew along!
The club will remain open during the event with access and information available for members of the public enquiring about membership.
Take advantage of the Clubs balcony to watch the displays without the crush. Look forward to seeing you.
LIFEBOAT AND HELICOPTER DISPLAY - by the Mudeford Lifeboat and HM Coastguard.
AIR DISPLAY - BLADES AEROBATIC TEAM - these are all ex Red Arrows pilots that perform similar routines in 4 propeller aircraft.
RAFT RACE - From the fast and furious to the elaborately decorated, watch the fantastic display of raft's racing down the infamous 'Mudeford Run'.
DUCK RACE - sponsor a plastic duck and then watch the ducks race down the 'Mudeford Run'. A firm favourite with the kids.
STEP ABOARD - have a look around Poole Lifeboat.
FUNFAIR RIDES - plenty of fun and games for all the family. With lots of prizes to win all on the head of Mudeford Quay.
All money raised goes directly to the Mudeford Lifeboat Station
GRASS AREA - Hog Roast Fish and Chips Pizza Childrens Train Jewellery Face Painting Bouncy Castle and lots more activities Designated picnic area with live music.
STALLS & SIDESHOWS - lots of fun and games for everyone.

New Membership Drive
Volunteers required to help rig up boats and set up information for a recruitment drive on the Funday. Ian Pike will be at the club from 10.00am, just turn up and help for as long as you can.
Barts Bash 21st Sept 2014
Highcliffe has signed up to take part in this event which aims to set a world record and raise money for the Bart Simpson Foundation.
