We have three Picos and one RS Vision available for hire by our members.
HSC has, with a helping hand from the RYA, invested in a fabulous new club boat. The RS Vision, a two hander perfect for both 2 adults or 1 adult + 1or 2 children combinations, is fitted with a trapeze and the option of rigging a gennaker. It's great for both racing and cruising and is available to hire to members at any time via the club website booking system.
In order to hire it members must first be registered by attending a familiarisation session where we can take you over the boat and make sure you get the best out of it. We've run the first session and got our first batch of members on the system. Carl Bray will organise more familiarisation sessions throughout the year but in the meantime, any member who would like to get on the users list should email him on firstname.lastname@example.org and he will setup a session as soon as possible.
Remember, members can book the the Vision through our online system here We would love to see lots of people making use of this great new boat and would particularly like to see you trying it out on the race course. Watch out for a list of our race goers who would be happy to take out any newcomers to the race scene preferring to see how it all works with a regular first.
