We have a new swapping procedure that works on e-mail. No passwords required. Please take a look and make sure you are available for your rostered duties or have swapped them. Click the Green button next to "show notes" at the top of the duty roster for instructions.
Help is required for the open meetings this year. The sea is fleet mainly made up of Monohulls of all classes but the club Catamarans have been known to join in. Racing is held on a Sunday morning, Easter until October and Thursday evenings when the light allows (this seems to be most of the year)Both Sunday and Thursday racing is usually two handicap races back to back, one on a Thursday during spring and autumn when the light fades early.
Christchurch bay with its prevailing westerlies, is the club's best asset for good sailing in open water
By agreement with Christchurch council we have the facility of launching from the beach at Gundimore. This can really help if tides or confidence make tackling the run inappropriate and allows us to accommodate large numbers for events
This facility is available to all club members. We do however need to consider other users and the terms of our licence agreement with the council:
